Combining modern design, natural history, and confetti, we have been making housewares for your imaginary A-frame in the woods since 2012.

We migrated from Brooklyn and Montreal, and have lived in Portland, Oregon with an array of wild dogs for over a decade. Outside of working on Scout & Whistle, Vanessa is an illustrator and craft stylist and Darren is an animation director and filmmaker.
